All of singer-songwriter Steve Kareta's songs have at least a "smidgen" of truth to them. "It's much easier to draw from reality than to work at making something up from scratch, and usually far more entertaining". There are songs about fun in the sun, hanging out with friends, time on the water, and getting older. It's a mixture of Cajun, country, "Trop" rock, reggae, and swing, all written with a "sing-along" pop sensibility. Our music has been featured on many internet radio stations, like Radio Margaritaville, Radio JimmyDreamz, Tropicast, SandBar Radio, Parrot Island Radio, Coverunner Radio, and many others. We've managed to get some very notable players interested in recording with us. On the newest CD "Summer State Of Mind", Doyle Grisham (pedal steel guitar) and Amy Lee (saxophone), both member of Jimmy Buffett’s "Coral Reefer Band", are playing with Steve and the band, as well as Judy Hyman who plays fiddle with folks like Natalie Merchant and The Horseflies.
